If a learner plays truant, he/she will be punished. Poor school attendance will be reported to the Gauteng Department of Education.
Parents have to see to it that their children attend school,
parents are responsible for regular attendance.
Feeding Scheme
The school feeding scheme or as it is officially called -the National School Nutrition Programme – aims to foster better quality education by: enhancing children’s active learning capacity; alleviate short term hunger, providing an incentive for children to attend school.
To join the feeding scheme, learners need to complete a form and return it with an affidavit or a copy of the caretaker’s recent pay slip.
